״It’s not the problem that’s the problem. It’s the way you think about the problem that’s the problem.״

-Milton Erickson

My Approach

Welcome! 🙂 I combine a solid foundation of scientifically-supported psychological methods with a personal, client-centered but also practical and solution based approach to make our work together meaningful.

When we work together, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen and heard; free to express yourself while also open to confronting what might be difficult or avoided. I approach this process with empathy, honesty, humor, and authenticity, and I strive to remain connected with you every step of the way. I’m here to share my own stories and experiences as well, offering insights that might resonate with you along our journey;)

I work to bridge the gap between what you consciously know and the deeper layers of your inner experience. The idea is simple: your mind is an interconnected system where thoughts, emotions, sensations, images, and metaphors all influence one another. By gently exploring these layers together, we uncover subtle patterns that shape how you see yourself and the world. This process not only clarifies your internal landscape but also paves the way for lasting, meaningful change.

I work in three main ways:

1. Understanding the Problem: We’ll explore what’s happening and why, what emotions and (outer and inner) experiences are involved by using approaches like somatic, cognitive, and emotional techniques to get to the heart of the issue.

2. Focusing on Your Strengths: Together, we’ll tap into your existing resilience and competence, building solutions you can rely on.

3. Taking Responsibility: Our work aims to help you take ownership of your life and the specific challenges you’re facing, step by step.

I’m looking forward to working with you and supporting you as you move forward!
